Fill out the following table to help you explain the Growing in the dark: Plants and light experiment

Aim - what are you trying to find out?	Do plants need light to grow
Hypothesis - what do you think your results will be?	Plants need light to grow so yes.
Independent Variable - what variable will you change?	One is in light and one is in the dark.
Dependent Variable - what variable will you measure?	I will measure the height of the plant.
Controlled Variable - what variables will you keep the same?	Amount of water type of soil, amount of seed and type of seed

The students of Room 4 wanted to find out what colour of bird feeders birds preferred. FIll our the table below thinking of which variables you would make independent, dependent and controlled.

Aim - what are you trying to find out?	to find out what colour of bird feeders birds preferred.
Hypothesis - what do you think your results will be?	Bird feeders would like bright and colorful color’s.
Independent Variable - what variable will you change?	Only I will change the color’s.
Dependent Variable - what variable will you measure?	I will measure witch one do bird’s like bright colors or dark colors.
Controlled Variable - what variables will you keep the same?	Same amount of brid’s and same amount of flower’s.

This is what I think about fear testing of

What’s the difference between the three states of matter?

Solids	Liquids	Gases
Solids are tightly packed	liquid is a little bit free	and gases are free

Write 3 sentences explaining something new you learned from this reading.

I have learned that what we breath in is carbon dioxide and what we breath  out is casolin. I have learned that solids don’t remain that long like a tree and gold because gold can melt. I have learned that water is also stronger than a solid and can even do damage.

On the starting line, I could feel my stomach jumping and Charging like a Wrecking ship was going to smash through my head, my legs were like jelly, my heart was pounding like a volcano that was going to explode, I could hear the people shouting and cheering through everyone's ears. I felt like i wanted to go but there was no way out, Mr Burt slammed the two bricks together and everyone were blasting and charging towards the line. We were blasting like wild lions going across the field and Our Legs were sprinting like a cheaters was chasing it’s prey and Our legs were filled with pain. Well we were still running we were huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf was gonna blow down everyone. My arms were red like it was burning water fire. I was relieved to see the finish line in my eyes. My sweat felt like a water fountain dripping down, my cheeks were burning with boiling hot water, my legs were shaking like an earthquake and my back felt like it was getting grill. When I was running I could hear shouting and yelling like there was a Olympics happening, but it was. Once I got on the finish line my face was filled with happiness and I am a person that never gives up.
