Ambassadors 2015

This is my digeridoo. On Sunday after chruch we went to buy taro at the dairy, and in front of the dairy there was a man playing one. So then on Monday I stared to make my own. How I got into it is that miss Williamson brought a tube and she told me if I want to make a digiridoo. 

Learn

This term I was learning art about aboriginal art. I read a journal story about it. When you make one you have to do long line's for the out lines and dots for drawing your picture. The aborigines used mud and soil mixed with water to make coloured paints.

Create

I created lots of shapes, and i filled it up with dot’s using different colored paints. Now I uesd lines for the out line.

first world war.

In World War one, Mr Burts dad was serving in the war. So was Miss Flavels dad. Mr Burts dad and Miss Flavels dad were the two strong men.

The first world war killed 17 million people, but heres the thing, the people who were going to the first world war were happy to go. So then they went but then when they got there it started to be scary.

Lots of bombs flew through the sky, lots of bullets, and lots of people were shooting. But when they went home they were using walking sticks, crutches or wheelchairs, and had broken arms.

This is the sad part, some of them died and some of them did not die, they got buried at grave yards with a poppy next to their cross, this is the saddest story that I ever heard.This is a man that was in the war.

Living on Mekong River
