My New Piano

Me and my new piano.

P1. On sunday Feb the 13 in 2016 we went to my aunt's house and she lives far far away we went there because she wanted to move some stuff out like her old piano and her big kid’s toy’s. She has a feijoa tree at the back of the house and then I said to sister “ I know what i’m going to do go and grab some feijoas at the back” so we went at the back with our plastic bags and boom there was a lot of BIG feijoas so me and my sister was so so happy. My sister said “ I want to live here and I am going to live here” so I said “ well you can live here while I am in samoa with mum and dad” and she said “ no way man I want to go to samoa” so I said  “ we are both going to samoa with mum and dad” now we went back inside the house with our BIG feijoas My mum said “ wow look how many feijoas you guys got it is like you go the whole tree” and my aunty was laughing.

P2. Then I saw the old piano it was a little bit olden day, but I still said “ I still want it” because If I go there another day it might be gone and I will be sad so we took it in the car and I did the work and I was sweating so I went in the house and I grabbed a fresh cold water then I said “ ahh ahh” then we still needed to put in the toys inside the car that we are going to get from her garage and believe it or not she had lots of toys then I said “ this is going to take forever”.

P3. So I was doing the most work and I had to lift heavy boxes of toys and of course I had a little play around with the toys and I was pretty all right with the amount of toy that we are getting but the mess is going to be big and I will be tired of picking up the toys.

Holiday Highlight

In the holidays I went to Rainbows End with my family. The first ride that I went to was the power search  and it was just like the invader so then I said to myself “hey if the power search is just like the invader then I should go and try the stratosfear because the stratosfear spines just like the invada” So then I went and tried it with my brother. First my brother said “you can lead the way” so then I went on the ride first and then my brother came and fastened his seatbelt, But I didn't so then I got of the ride and my brother could not get his belt off so then he said to the ride manager tack off my seatbelt right now! But then the manager said sorry to late and then I hi fived the manager and the ride went on. Then when the ride was finished he came off and said to the manager “NICE JOB!!” So then we went to my aunt's house to finish off the best day ever. Click here to see the song.   

Making Pool Table

         

Last Term my friend and I thought about making a pool table at Maker Space, but then other people copied us. So we tried to be the first people to make a pool table so that people would know that we came up with the idea first. But then I had another idea, to make a dart board. But then this kid said to his mate “Dude should we make a dart board” and then I jumped in and said “Wait wait wait! That was our idea”. 
They said “No, I had that idea first” so I just let them have it because that is what Ambassadors do the best - let other people feel included, just as Talita says in her introduction.
So, we made the pool table and finished it off quickly. Here is a short video and if you want to see the finished game that my friend and I made, then head over to classes 6, 7 and 8 and try to spot me when you get there so I can show you the pool table.

Walt: think critically about what we read. This is my presentation about the 2 watches that people who don't really know about it and they want to buy it because they might not have a watch.

Team 4 Trade Fair

WALT: Add one main idea per paragraph.

Our Topic for this term is to make things like toys or bracelets and then try to sell them at the market - This is called trade and enterprise.

Trade and enterprise means to me is that we are being smart and careful with our money. We are also learning how to be a salesman or a saleswoman

Another thing about money is that if you sell something for like 50 c and the real thing is like 2.50 you are only getting half the price and not even getting more money and you are getting nothing at all.  This term we need to make a  businesses group to earn money.

Me and my buds groups name is superheroes we make superheroes bracelets and superheroes out of bands. My bubs names are Omari, Davide, and Kaden.  The trade fair was a little bit hard to get people to look at our products that we are selling like superheroes bracelets and thing that is made out of bands. We sold our Loom Bands for like 50 pcs or a Pt  we were trying to get people to come and still we got alot of allders.    

We are hoping to get  make a lot of Pts and make heaps of money.

This is me and my groups presentation about Character Description. Our Topic was to describe a character in the story by looking at their specific characteristics. We then used padlet to show exact evidence from the text to prove our ideas. I learnt that sometimes people can show a range of characteristics in different settings.

If I had a million Dollars at the Mall

Intro

In the morning I woke up and I saw a million dollars right in my face so I got up and rushed to the mall. There I was in the heavens at the mall I said everybody please get out of the mall I will pay you money so then they went out of the mall. But then there was a worker sweeping the floor and I said wheo there get out of the mall this is my mall for now so then he ran out scared and I was laughing ha ha.

So then I went to Toyworld and I bought heaps of legos because whenever i’m watching  tv with my little nephew and the ad comes on about toys he says “uncle can you buy me that” and I say “sorry I don’t have enough money”. But no that I have money I can buy all the things that my first little nephew wants like nerf guns and all of that.    

Then I ran to JB HIFI and I bought a flat screen tv for my mum and my dad with a letter saying thank you mum and dad for looking after me when I was a baby so I want you have this flat screen tv for doing all the best to rase me. After that I  bought my my brothers

some PS4S and Iphone sixes so when I was buying these stuff I thought about my sisters so I bought my sisters some Iphone sixes.    

Now I was looking at my shoes and they looked a little bit ripped so I walked to Footlocker because it was right nextdoor. When I got there I looked at the Air Jordans and Nikes and T Shirts then I said to myself “ I shall get Nikes wait no I shall get Jordans and T shirts na I shall get all ”. So I got them all and I said “ wow I look cool this is what I need for my self” After that I went back home and sleep ahh.  

I said to myself at home “did I spent my money well today at the mall yes I did because I spent my money on the things that my family wanted and the thing that my nephew wanted’.
