     School Life

School is a daily routine for us

In the morning, we're sure to make a fuss

Even when the sun is still not up,

Here we are, awake at 6am sharp

We feel that school is such a bore

We feel that school is such a chore

Parents say, "School's great! Now, go!"

We say, "Well, what do you know?"

Late a minute and we have to run

Eyes half open, shoelaces undone

We reach school and we see our friends,

Immediately, the torture ends

We have a chat and go with the flow

Then the bell rings, it is time to go

We may at times find school stressful

To have some fun, we have to bend some rules

Talk back to teachers, and detention we serve

No doubt, it is sometimes what we deserve

Sometimes they are as cold as ice

And other times they're actually really nice

They teach us and give us a helping hand

They're forever ready to listen and be a friend

They have built much confidence in us

Just not when they are being really harsh

Over the years of education,

Never have we had so much learning with action

Such as camps, experiments, concerts and activities

We've learnt so much and even saved the trees

A wise teacher once said aloud -

Success is failure turned inside out

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit

Rest if you must, but don't you quit

Some may see school as a torture chamber

Some cannot wait for the holidays in December

But it depends on how we look at school

Honestly, positively, school is cool!

The Best Day Of My Life

The best day of my life

Today was so Awesome because I'm at my uncle’s house and oh man we went to rainbow's end, and then after that we went straight to the GI pool’s, next to Pt England School.

At rainbow’s end I went on the Log Ride and it was pretty darn scary because there was a tunnel with strange creatures and there was GOLD! Once the ride was about to end there was this long hill down like a rollercoaster, I was getting goosebumps already and my legs were shaking like I was could but I wasn't. Then it took a photo when I was going down and I looked like a scaredy cat.

Now after that my uncle said “all right we are going to the pool’s now because i’m the best uncle in the word”. So then we went to the pool’s and it was freezing like I was in the Arctic then I said “ok i’m out of here so then we went back home all because of me Hendrix so then I just went to sleep like a lion, GOOD NIGHT.

Hi my name is Hendrix and I was in the Samoan FIA FIA group and oh I could tell you that it was the best time of my life. It was like polyfest, but better because the crowd went wild and the hits just kept on coming with the beautiful miss  muliaumaseali'i. Man she was dancing like there was no tomorrow with  fire spinning performance and i knew that it was really hot up there. This FIA FIA night went so awesome, that I almost cried  like a waterfall with lovely flowers  and oh! Ladies and gentlemen put your hands together for the senior Samoan group. Then at that time I just started to felt nervous, but then I heard something saying “you can do and who care’s if they laugh at you  just say  hey I have trained this whole time  and know it is time show it all off”. Then I was like “yeah i’m not scared of you know i’m  just going to dance and be proud of my own  culture Samoa and then I got up and just dance like a man and hey after when I went home my mum just gave me $50 and that was my best FIA FIA night ever.
